Mark Arnold was born in Bangor, Maine. He grew up in Maine with his family and graduated high school at Bangor Christian School in 1982. In 1988 he married his wife Shari. Together they served as active church members, leading in their local youth and Awana programs.

Mark and Shari had two children, Rebekah and Caleb, before they began attending Cornerstone Baptist church in 1995 where they have attended ever since. Shortly after, their third child, Noah, was born. Mark began serving as associate pastor at Cornerstone Baptist Church in 2000. Since then he has continued his love for youth and Christian ministry by leading the youth group at Cornerstone Baptist Church as well as taking counseling training courses.
